The private accommodation includes two holiday homes: Rigó Holiday House (14 Rigó Street, Lakitelek) and Little Rigó Holiday House (29 Rigó Street, Lakitelek).

Personal data is only processed by the accommodation for predefined purposes, for the period necessary to exercise rights and fulfill obligations. Only data essential to achieving the purpose will be collected and processed.

This notice covers all data processing related to the services of the accommodation, including data collected via the website https://rigohazak.hu.

MANDATORY RECORDING OF PERSONAL DATA As of September 1, 2021, based on current Hungarian legislation, all accommodation providers in Hungary must record guests’ personal data using a document scanner into a management system, which then forwards the data to the Guest Information Closed Database (VIZA) [https://vizainfo.hu/vendegek].

The purpose is to ensure security and legal compliance, especially concerning third-country nationals and individuals enjoying the right to free movement.

Data recorded includes:

  • Family and given name

  • Birth name

  • Place and date of birth

  • Gender

  • Citizenship

  • Mother’s birth name

  • ID or passport number

  • For third-country nationals: visa/residence permit number, entry date, and location

Guests must present a valid ID document for data recording. If a document does not contain some of the required data, it does not need to be recorded. In the absence of an ID, service may be refused. The provider is legally authorized to request identification, and guests are obliged to present it.

Data is retained until the end of the calendar year following the year in which it was recorded. Data stored in the VIZA system may be accessed by the police for purposes of law enforcement, public safety, border protection, and other legally permitted investigations.
